GranBlue Fantasy versus is experiencing a strong launch in Japan with 150,000 units shipped

Granblue Fantasy versus for PS4 was launched on February 6 in Japan. The game seems to be a certain success on sales side with 150,000 units sold on the first day. With the international exit that will arrive later on March 3, the momentum should not stop soon.

Developed by Arc System Works that brought us Dragon Fighterz and Guildygear, Granblue Fantasy versus is an adaptation of combat game of the mobile title of Cygames. Benefiting from the beautiful artistic style of Arc System Works, a complex gameplay and professional polishing, the title has been very expected by the Combat Games community.

Unsurprisingly, developers have confirmed continuous game updates, including competitive balance patches and new characters. The first season passed has already announced the inclusion of Chaos Bringer, Narmaya, Soriz and Djeta. The developers have expressed interest in a PC port, but it does not seem to be about to be developed soon. Maybe after an international success, they could think more seriously.

The game tries to lower the barrier to entry into combat games, which can be intimidating for new players.
