A few years ago, Dallas Mavericks were apparently shortly before a trade that Paul Pierce had brought to the side of Dirk Nowitzki. This confirmed both Pierce and MAV's owner Mark Cuban. The deal failed but lately second. As Chris Mannix reported in Sports Illustrated , Pierce in the spring of 2007 has expressed his trade desire to the MAVs at a random meeting with Cuban in Las Vegas. The Celtics legend, which will be added to the Hall of Fame next weekend, looked at itself as a missing puzzle part for the MAVs. I'm in my prime and I see all the guys in the playoffs.
