The ascent: How to defeat Megarachnoid

Megarachnoid is the first big boss with which you will have problems in The Ascent. No jokes here, this huge mechanoid spider is a really hard nut to crack, especially when you get in the fight without being properly prepared. It has flame widths, machine guns, rockets and naturally henchmen. In addition, the fight itself takes place in a fairly remote area, which makes it difficult to return to the capital and to prepare accordingly if necessary. Nevertheless, this is a boss fight to which you will remember in the Ascent, so let's see how you can easily handle it.

How to defeat the Megarachnoid in The Ascent

The most important thing first, we have to mention a general fact. Each mechanoide and robotic enemy in The Ascent is prone to energy weapons. So far, you may have noticed any difference, but there are several types of enemies and mechanoids are just one of them. The firing of your normal impact weapon will not give you much to you, but if you hit it with an energy weapon, much more damage is done and struggles ended in just a few seconds. While the Megarachnoid fight takes not only a few seconds, the use of energy weapons is crucial, as this is significantly shortened the time spent in this fight.

In addition, the giant spider is not the only thing you need to worry about being a big obstacle to the young spiders you spawning. The spider throws eggs through the area, and if they are not treated quickly, bring small, mechanoid baby spiders. These can swarm you very quickly, so energy weapons will make with you short process, which is why they are so important.

The tactics for this fight is easy. Turn on to avoid the AOE attacks, the Megarachnoid throws on it, and focus on killing spider animals when you spawn. Shoot Megarachnoid if you do not do it, and you should be ready. Apart from that, the choice of weapons in this fight plays a big role, and two are strongly recommended. The E77 Superior and he Chrome Puncher.

The first is an energy-assault rifle that you can find in the fight against robotic enemies in the area of Megarachnoid, and which is ideal for dealing with the little spiders. The latter is an energy department that should focus on, as it can be purchased at the dealer in Cluster 13 before entering this place where they fight against the giant spider. This means that you can instantly grab and update it, which is recommended to make things extremely easy when reaching the boss fight. An upgrade to mk.4 should be enough to trivialize the fight, and because it is a rifle that can be used for each instance until you find a stronger, it can most likely be your main weapon for a while. Therefore, do not worry about investing some materials for it.

And there you have everything you need to know about the Megarachnoid fight. Route your strongest energy weapons, kill baby spiders and shoot the big villain with DPS as you avoid his telegraphed attacks. Destroy it and follow the way in front of you to snap the unique augmentation with which you can spin yourself for yourself and lean yourself to a "summoner" -ilar build.
