War in Ukraine: GSC Game World interrupts Stalker's development 2

Lights! Camera! War… A week after the invasion of Ukraine by the Russian armed forces, GSC Game World, the Ukrainian studio behind the franchise s.t.a.l.k.e.r, announces the temporary and indefinite judgment of the development of its next opus, s.t.a.l.k.e.r. 2: Heart of Chernobyl .

Titled "Lights! Camera! War...", the video is poignant. At a time when GSC GAME World should have shared the scenes of the development of s.t.a.l.k.e.r. 2: Heart of Chernobyl , including images of his actors in the middle of the session of Motion Capture, the studio whose head office is located in Kyiv publishes a video whose message is clear: the continuation of Stalker is put In pause the time the situation is improving in Ukraine. "Our country is obliged to fight again to exist. [...] Now we strive to help our employees and their families survive.".

The development of the game is put on the key. But we will certainly continue. After victory.

GSC GAME WORLD

Recently pushed back to December 8, 2022, s.t.a.l.k.e.r. 2: Heart of Chernobyl is therefore officially paused until further notice.
