So you play online with your friends in Monster Hunter World

One of the greatest pleasures in life is to share your success with friends. For this reason, you want to know how to play online multiplayer in Monster Hunter World. Of course, it's fun to play alone, but nothing goes beyond the thrill of defeating a huge lizard dog with friends. You can play the game with up to three friends, but it's not as easy as in other games.

The multi-play components of Monster Hunter World are a bit strange. Unlike other multiplayer games, you must jump for a common fight through many tires and access hidden menus. But do not worry, we found it out together and are here now to facilitate the whole process.

How to play online with your friends in Monster Hunter World

1. Get online

Start the game as usual and make sure you enter an online session. You can either create your own or simply connect one of the quick matchmaker to get in touch with other random online players. Note that you can now search for a friendship when you start your game. If you want to make sure that only you and your friends are playing, we recommend that you first create your own private online session.

Hereby, simply create an online lobby in which you are currently. You can then invite your friends at will.

2 . Invite your friends by inviting to the menu Pause> Communication> Invite a friend

To invite a friend to your game, press the pause button and then go to the Communication tab. Go down all the way to invite a friend, and then your normal PS4 / Xbox One overlay will be displayed as in any other game.

Here, however, it gets a bit more complicated. You could think that your friend, as soon as you invited it, appears along with Palico next to you in the game. Not quite in Monster Hunter World. You Sind in your game, but you'll see you first when you started a quest or go to the collection point on the fourth floor. So you have the opportunity to sort your inventory between quests and expeditions. However, you will feel that it is not quite the multiplayer game you want.

3 . Set a quest to the quest board, set the player limit and wait until your friends join. Or close your search.

However, if you are ready to start a coop hunt, you must contact the Quest Forum. Go to the post of a new quest and then choose what you want to do. You have the option to change the number of players from one to four and even enter a passcode for your quest if you are in an open lobby and do not want to have a unknown hunter.

If you would like to participate in the quest of another person, enter the option at a quest in the quest area and see what your friend has posted. It only needs to be waiting for all ready to start the quest, and it has to start to kill some beasts.

There are a few things to pay attention to when you play online with your friends. So think about the following things:

Jägerlevels are important in multiplayer mode

You have to be aware of your various Jägerlevel before you even think about making a quest together. If one of them is a level 3 hunter and you try to connect a hunt of level 5, this does not work. The hunter of the higher level can connect a hunt of the lower level to help, just not vice versa.

The same applies to Story missions. You can not jump forward in history to fight against a monster on which you are not prepared, but your friend can return to an earlier mission when you send the quest to the blackboard.

Note the rules for intermediate sequences

And that connects with another small annoying peculiarity in Monster Hunter World multiplayer system. Even if you have already completed the story mission, you have to wait until the other player looked at all intermediate sequences or completed the part of the quest before the monster before they can enclose and help. You can rigid for the quest board until the other player has reached this area. At this point he tells him that he can start a SOS torch. This is your queue to return to the Quest Forum and jump.

Some quests do not support multiplayer mode

Even stranger is that there are certain story quests that simply do not support multiplayer mode, but you will not find it out when you try to become a member. Yes, their friends will see that they have posted a quest and even can see them on the wall, but they can not participate in history for various reasons. It is not clear that this is one thing until you try to connect this quest. Strange and annoying. Double Whammy!

Three or four players do not mean Palicos

If you play Monster Hunter World with other players, your Palico basically acts as a caderfiller and constantly ensures that you act as a group of four. So if you have three or four players in your squad, unfortunately that means that your Palicos will stay behind. The game does not tell you that either, so I had a light panic, I would have forced my friend to stay back and he would hate me forever. But fortunately that is not _father, the case.

Everyone gets the rewards ...

Everything you collect in the context of a quest, expedition or another monster Hunter World mission belongs to you. Everyone else can collect their own versions. So do not worry, here there is no reward division, everything is fair and fair.

... but you have to share the supplies at your base

However, this does not apply to the objects in the inventory box in one of the base camps. Quest-specific items that you find in are marked with a symbol indicating that they are intended for everyone. So do not take all the potions, rations and other useful consumables, unless you are sure you would like anyone else.

Everything is easier in the squad

The easiest way to make sure you always play with the people you really want is to start a squad. Your squad is basically a favorite list that allows you to get much easier to access your friends in Monster Hunter World. You can jump directly into a squad session search when you start the game, and then automatically connect one of your other squad friends if they are online. You can also connect if you are online. In a squad session, you can quickly and easily view all quests you have provided that you can also participate. You can also invite other people to a squad session. However, they are not yet part of their squad. You can be a member of up to eight troops that can accommodate up to 50 members so they can easily switch between different players. #Squadgoals

How to build a monster Hunter World Troop or connects to it

You can set up a Monster Hunter World squad in the gathering hub by talking to the squadmanager at the desk in the middle. Just decide to create a squad, design your emblem and names it to start one.

You can then invite players to your squad by sending them invitations. Go to the pause menu and then to the "Communication" tab. Only the Squad Leader can invite or remove members. You can only be added to a squad if you have actually been invited. It does not resemble the clan system of Destiny 2, where you can search for a clan you want to join.
